A mega family-friendly aqua obstacle course is coming to south west London this summer.
The RNLI’s Splash Fest will transform Battersea Park into a 2.5km trail and ‘lively event village’ on Sunday, August 7.
Watery fun for families with children aged seven to 12 has five zones to keep families entertained.
They include:
- The Bubby Brook with giant bubbles, a maze, music and a bandstand marooned in a sea of foam
- Wild Wild Waters with geyser-spouting water to dodge
- Splash n Shoot where people in giant boats will take aim at floating targets
- Slip-Slide Stream with toboggan-style water slides
- Crazy Canyon with pools to cross on floating devices and a giant inflatable slide.
The RNLI’s Lauren Pincott said: “Splash Fest promises to be an exciting day out for all the family, with five action-packed zones of watery challenges, and an event village with live music, entertainment, games and an all-important drying-off area.
“Not only will families have fun, they’ll be helping to save lives as the RNLI will use all profits to help fund its life-saving work.”
Tickets cost £22 for adults and £10 children aged three to 18 in advance or £25/£12.50 on the day. Go to splashfest.co.uk
