There is still time to be part of Sutton's free Imagine 2014 Festival of Arts.
The Secombe Theatre is opening its doors, and raising its curtains, to the public for three dates in October.
The first event gives budding thespians the opportunity to creep the boards at a drama performance day where troupes of up to 10 performers can stage a 10-minute show.
Those who wish to showcase their musicianship can put themselves forward for the Imagine festival's music performance day where local artists can share the stage with groups such as the British Clarinet Ensemble. This is a completely open event for any age group or style.
Dance your socks off rounds off the festival and is open to single performers or dance groups of up to 20 members wanting to put on a five-minute routine.
Alongside these opportunities to perform there will be workshops and live performances throughout the day.
